La laguna Park is a five minute drive from the hotel formed in a natural crater, where you will find the biggest natural water reserve of La Palma. In these surroundings there are lots of natural paths and walkways where you can walk and enjoy the scenery and nature and will find a wide variety of native plants, grassed areas for games an adventure fitness site. There are also little huts with barbecues where you can prepare a picnic and enjoy a pleasant few hours alone or in the company of others. There is also a children´s play park, local craft shops, a small lake with ducks and swans and a restaurant which will always make you feel welcome. You will find La Palma Romantica near one of the best natural grassed football grounds on the Island, two minutes from the hotel. Here is where the footballers from the town come and play, but it is best known for being the pre-season training ground for C.D. Tenerife, U.D. Las Palmas, Vecindario and U.D. Fuerteventura football clubs. La Fajana Natural Swimming Pools On the Northern coast lies the protected natural pools of "La Fajana" de Barlovento with clear, clear water. From here there is a beautiful view of the entire Northern coast from Juan Adalid to the horizon, where in the evenings you can see the sunset. Above these pools is the "La Gaviota" restaurant with its large terrace where you can have a drink or try the local sea food. Those who wish to do more than simply bathe may follow a path along the coast to the small bay of "La Lajita" and enjoy the natural beauty of the small cove. La Tosca View Point One of the last places where one can enjoy the ancient dragon trees, which is not just a tree but also a herbal plant. These trees live up to a thousand years. Here there are also walking trails where one can enjoy the sheer nature and beautiful views of the Northern coast. We provide our clients with a "step by step" walking guide of these trails. Escorted walking tours are available and we offer a typical Canarian picnic with gofio, goat´s cheese and local fruits for the journey. Charco Azul Natural Swimming Pools are well worth a visit with rocky terraces a restaurant and its small paseo maritimo they are located on the coast below Los Sauces in between San Andres with its facinating church and square and Puerto Espinola which has a good fish restaurant at the entrance to the port. Los Tilos Forest and visitor centre, UNESCO declared the area a biosphere reserve in 1983 it is one of the most fascinating landscapes on La Palma. Short and long walks can be taken from here. Marcos y Corderos Springs is a spectacular walk at 1300 m, through which 12 tunnels are travelled before you reach the springs. Torch, rain gear, appropriate footwear are essential, for this hike.
