Aparthotel Barcelo Varadero is located 30 km from Playa de las Americas, 45 km from Tenerife Sur airport and 500 m from the Playa de la Arena. On the sunny west coast of Tenerife, Playa de la Arena is part of an expanding complex that also includes Puerto de Santiago and Los Gigantes. The AI programme consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Snacks are offered from 10:00-13:00 and from 15:00-17:00 at the Palmeras bar or at the Los Brezos kiosk. Coffee & cake are available at the pool bar from 15:00-18:00. Locally produced drinks are served from 10:00-23:00.

There are 3 swimming pools for adults and 1 for children. There are also terraces/solarium and gardens, Jacuzzi, a fitness room, sauna, games room, and an entertainment programme. Sports include 2 tennis courts, fruit machines, pool tables, and table tennis. Children facilities include (4 years onward) sports and socio-cultural activities as well as contests and shows for everybody all day long. Mini Club for the youngsters. In the area you can find a number of water sports including a diving school, and fishing, mini-golf, hiking, hang-gliding, restaurants, bars, a shopping centre and more.

Sport facilities at the hotel include one hour tennis during the day (due to availability), table tennis and gym. In order to practice any sports, it is necessary to make a reservation at the reception.

Drinks & food that are not included in the AI menu, safety deposit boxes, telephone calls & fax, sauna & whirlpool, medical service and excursions are not included in the AI concept.

The Hotel offers a 24 hrs reception, air conditioning, baby cots, picnics, free sun loungers, foreign currency exchange, car rental desks, self-service laundrette, a supermarket, fax and post service.

On arrival guests will receive an identification card, which will have to show to the hotel staff whenever they want to consume something. When leaving the hotel guests will have to return that card to the reception. While staying at the hotel a ticket needs to be signed whenever taking advantage of one of the services. The signature identifies the owner of the card. The All Inclusive contains only personal consumption. In case a guest wants to invite another person who has no All Inclusive, he will have to pay the price of the list.
