Hotel Playa La Arena is
Located in a spectacular setting on the picturesque coast of Santiago
del Teide, next to a pretty beach covered with black volcanic sand.
The climate in this area is justly renowned for having the best
climate in Tenerife. You can count on warm and sunny weather no matter
what date you choose for your holiday. You reach the seaside promenade
by walking down from the pool area, passing the pretty waterfall in
the garden, and through the lower entrance of the Hotel, which
actually is the one mostly used by our guests. The beach is only a
short and pleasant walk away. Of all the beaches of the island, locals
and residents consider this one their favourite.
Accommodation
The Hotel has 432 elegant
and spacious rooms, each with fully-fitted bathroom, balcony, air
conditioning, telephone, piped music, minibar, satellite television,
individual safe (extra charge) and dressing-gowns and hair-dryer in
the bathroom. Free pool towels at the swimming-pools. Most rooms have
sea view and pool and garden view as well. They include the following
extras: safe (including insurance fee; available on charge), a
welcome-present in the room on arrival day. Room service available
from 7:30 am to midnight. Guests enjoying the sea view rooms will have
use of dressing gowns.
Facilities & Services
Among the various sports
facilities on offer you can choose the tennis court (to hire from
reception), mini-golf, pétanque (French bowls), table tennis or
billiards. And you can play golf at the Costa Adeje Golf Club (18
holes) at 22 km from the Hotel. Adding yet another leisure and sports
option to its many other excellent facilities and services, the Hotel
offers you the possibility of improving your fitness and physical
well-being during your holidays at the Athenia Fitness Centre,
attended by its experienced professional trainers. This modern fitness
centre (payable locally) is equipped with a full musculation circuit
and quitar.
Children Facilities
The children will have a
lot of fun in their swimming pool with its great water slide - and
enjoy the special treat created for our youngest guests: the
delightful playground reserved for children from 3 to 12 years.
